Mmm... Birthday Wish

Mmmm... you know what sounds really good right now? I'll give you a hint:

Laurie, doesn't this make you want one!?

Okay, that wasn't really a hint. I think that's what I want for my birthday. Suzanna, do you want to drive to St. George to get an In-N-Out burger tomorrow? Double-double with grilled onions and fries animal style with a chocolate shake. I'm salivating...

I really love In-N-Out Burger. So simple, yet so tasty. I remember one of my first times there (in Barstow, CA on the way to or from LA, I can't remember which), I noticed that the menu was quite brief. How perfect for a burger joint! No chicken sandwhiches or healthy salads. Just burgers, fries, and shakes. The way a burger place should be. Recently when Suzanna and I went to Vegas after she graduated from BYU, we went twice. While in Vegas, we went to the one on Tropicana, which is where I took these pictures. The other time was on our way back to Provo. We stopped in Washington City (exit 10 for any of you people going south-bound soon) and enjoyed another good, fresh burger. Wow... I love you, In-N-Out.

Dancing Walrus?

Wow, so Suzanna's grandma sent an email out with this riduculously funny video attached:

I thought it was so hilarious that it needed to be shared, so I hope you all enjoy this "dancing" walrus! The best parts are the head bobs and slide move...

What the... ?

In the Talmage building on campus I've noticed these signs lately, which read, "Maths is vital" and "Maths hots up."

Apparently English really isn't a strong point for Mathematicians.

Water & Fire

When Suzanna graduated in April, we went to Las Vegas for the weekend. We stayed in this really crummy hotel, but we didn't spend a ton of time there since we wanted to "see the sights," but that's another story... While we were walking the strip, we stopped at the Bellagio to watch the dancing fountains. We were amazed at how beautiful and fun they were. We just happened to get there right before Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" started. Having my camera handy, I took a video of the fountains.

Last night at the Stadium of Fire, which is another story we should tell, we were watching the fireworks after Miley Cyrus had finished her 45 minute spot, and I laughed when I heard "My Heart Will Go On" again, this time to fireworks instead of water fountains. I also took a video (very short this time) before the battery in the camera died. So now I've got Water and Fire to Celine Dion's music. How fun...
