We celebrated Logan's third birthday today! Pictured above are the birthday boy, his cheesy grin, and a super tasty chocolate cake with Oreos and cream cheese frosting! It was a delicious dessert after a fantastic dinner. We had grilled burgers (his favorite and mine!), fresh fruit (thanks SMTs!), and some veggies and chips. Not a bad break-the-fast dinner at all!
Logan was pleasant and gracious throughout the day. After we sang happy Birthday to him, his first reaction was to say, 'Thanks Mom!' before even blowing out the candle. He was smiley, and said thank you for everything. He got some play dough with shape cutters from the Tanners, a cool magnetic toy with various shapes and colors that you use to make designs shown on cards from MorMor, a few Sandra Boynton books and a toy castle with little figurines (kind of like a doll house for boys) from Suzanna and me. He was very excited about his great haul!
He has been in to Monsters, Inc. lately, so he was especially thrilled about the birthday card from MorMor, the plates and cups for cake and ice cream, and some green Mike (Mike and Sulley) bracelets that Suzanna got for the kids.
Good day all around. Love that big three year old boy! He's become very enthused about potty training and insisted on wearing big boy underwear tonight instead of his overnight undies (pull ups). Glad to see his willingness to learn!
It's a cake!
They created a scooter, a ball, and a house with these Imaginets from MorMor
